The CnW Wizard takes the user through several simple stages from media selection, testing physical aspects of the media, and then logical aspects of the media.  If the initial tests indicate a reasonably intact drive, the wizard will also perform the data recovery of files.  If these first tests detect a significant failure in physical or logical, the program will direct the user to sophisticated areas of the program to perform the necessary tasks for file recovery

When to use the Wizard

For most jobs, and most users, the Wizard will analyse a disk and extract all the files to a specified location. However, with any Wizard, there are limitations and a more hands on approach may be required.  For instance, if just a few files are required, or the disk is very damaged, there are more tools within the main program
