MTF .BKF

Microsoft Tape Format .BKF files

A common backup format is the native application within XP, Windows 2000 and NT. This produces a disk backup file with the default extension .BKF. If the file is looked at in a Hex viewer, it always starts with the signature TAPE. This format is also known as Veritas Backup Exec.

CnW Recovery software will read these files and recover the files within - even when the file is not complete, or has been corrupted.

To use this option, the BKF file is treated as if it is a disk image file
